Hendrix College Retains 39% More Athletes Using Scorability

The Hendrix College football program saw a 39% increase in athlete retention using Scorability’s predictive assessment.
93% of high scoring athletes met or exceeded the program’s academic standards versus only 70% for low scoring athletes.
For borderline admission recruits, 83% of high scoring athletes overachieved relative to coach-set standards, while only 33% of low scoring athletes met expectations.
It Costs Less to Retain Great Athletes Than to Recruit New Ones
Head Coach Buck Buchanan has been coaching football for nearly three decades, and in that time, he’s been an innovator in player evaluation-recruiting beyond the numbers to truly understand who an athlete is before they ever step foot on campus. His efforts in and focus on player evaluation support three of his goals at Hendrix College: retain great athletes, recruit the athletes most likely to overachieve, and develop his athletes to their full potential.
